Stuck on display screen

My sense is stuck on the diamond display. I’ve tried rebooting it, SEVERAL times, by holding the side buttons, but no luck. The app says there is a system update but it won’t even find my watch. I’ve tried taking it off the charger so the battery can run out, then plugging it back in, but it either doesn’t acknowledge the charger or it goes to the diamond display again and gets stuck. What can I do?
