Swim distance discrepancy Sense/app

When I go swimming, at the end of my swim, I stop the exercise on the Fitbit sense and it shows me some data. Then, when I upload it to my phone, it keeps the same data (exercise length, start time etc) but it reduces my distance by almost 2. 

The pool length is rightly set (and even if it wasn't, I would expect the app to just synchronize with the data on the watch).

Any advice on this?

I understand how annoying it is to see your distance significantly reduced like that.

One thing you could try is making sure your Fitbit app is completely up-to-date. Sometimes, syncing issues can arise from outdated app versions. Updating to the latest version might help smooth things out and ensure the data transfers correctly from your Sense to your phone.

I am having this issue - clearly there is a bigger problem here. When will it be fixed?
