Since the latest update on my sense the stroke detection seems to have just disappeared from my App. Is this an issue for others?

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @GDun.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Sense.

Your Watch should recognize the 4 most common strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). For best results, we recommend swimming freestyle. If your swimming session is not getting detected, I would recommend restarting your Sense by following these instructions

In addition, please make sure to set the pool length. For instructions, please visit this article and open the menu "How do I set the pool length for my Fitbit device?".

If the instructions shared above don't work,  please provide the following information:

- Which stroke are you having difficulties with?

- Are you tracking your swimming session manually or automatically?

- Do you see your activity recorded but it doesn't show in your Fitbit app?

- You don't see swimming from the list of exercises on your Sense?

See you around.

There's no issue with it tracking my lengths etc, it just doesn't detail strokes anymore - it's like the functionality of identifying any stroke has gone.

Thanks for your response, @GDun.

Your Fitbit Sense should be able to track your swim lengths, duration, distance, and pace.

Could you please tell me what details is your Watch not tracking?

Are you unable to see those details from the Watch or from the Fitbit app?

Could you please attach a screen shot of how your swimming sessions are currently displayed?

I'll be waiting for your response.

As I've said before, it no longer tracks the type of stroke, in my case
freestyle. Everything else is fine.

omg, I have done all these items and was a competitive swimmer: my strokes have been identified by swim coaches as perfect and beautiful to see and my Sense to this day never recognizes my strokes 19 out of 20 laps - I only swim freestyle and I start my watch - don't have it auto recognize. When I did that it was even worse! It thinks I'm doing breaststroke as I said 19 out of 20 laps.  It also adds a couple legnths...but it adds them consistently so my same work out is always the same number of laps...although it's wrong.

LOL - on my swim after posting this, my Sense recognized about 80% of the laps correctly as freestyle. We'll see if that continues and even improves
