Swimming tracking changes after firmware update

After updating my Fitbit firmware to the latest, my Fitbit Sense no longer shows the number of laps and swimming strokes (this was wildly inaccurate to begin with) on my Android App. Is this

Does it record if you start it manually?

If so then perhaps the limit for auto detection is not low enough.

Nope, it doesn't record. I always start it manually.

Did you click on your profile picture in the phone app, then activity & wellness and the exercise and check the value for swimming, is set to 10 [minutes] and not more?

The issue is not that it doesn't record my exercise. It will record as a
swim but it no longer shows the type of laps (breaststroke or freestyles).
