Will the fitbit sense auto recognise swimming like the charge 3 does ?

Yes it will. My Versa 2 auto-recognizes swimming, but it doesn't count laps on the watch. You can see your laps in the app. This was a downgrade from the original Versa. The Versa 2 does not have a gyroscope and both the Sense and the Versa 3 will include a gyroscope, so I'm hopeful lap counting on the watch will be back.
