I swim in a 25 meter pool and do 3 sets of 4 breast stroke and 4 freestyle for a total of 24 laps/600 meters. However, my Sense is counting more laps than I am actually swimming.  At the end of each lap, I stop for a few seconds to catch my breath and then continue.  I do not stop midway.  How do I set my Sense to accurately count laps/meters?

You are a brave soul, too many threads in this forum, on how swimming or getting the Sense wet, or the display has fallen off, has failed for so many. I would thank your lucky stars that your device lives another day. Not every feature is going to work 100%.

Fitbit Ionic 72.1.15 (recalled), Fitbit Sense 128.6.17 and Pixel Watch 2 BW1A.250605.004.

Hi, @JC1402, welcome to the community, I wear my "Sense" in a 25-metre pool daily for about 90 minutes of swimming freestyle. You do not mention the magnitude of the error. I count sets of 20 lengths and check the lap counter at the end of the 20th when I'm presented with a count of 19. On flicking my wrist a second time two or three seconds after I then get a 20 when the device has detected my last turn. I occasionally miscount but have not seen a trend of failure on the part of the device. I do not think changing stroke affects the lap count but you may be interested in this article How do I track my swims with my Fitbit device?

I hope this helps.

Cheers
