TRX needs better integration

I've tried using my Sense to lead me through TRX workouts using the TRX App.  In Settings, I have Focus Mode turned on to mute notifications and calls during an exercise session but I don't think it recognizes this exercise while I'm doing the workout.  It would also help if the watch screen stayed on the whole time during the workout to show the demo clips and timers instead of using the screen timeout.  I suppose I could go in and manually turn off notifications before a TRX workout and then turn them back on again afterwards but that seems like a P.I.T.A.  I could try Always-On display mode but I think that only works for the clockface.  Is anyone else having similar experiences or am I doing something wrong?

Update:  Turning off all notifications before the TRX workout was effective for eliminating those interruptions. Always-On was ineffective on screen timeouts within the watch app. I also tried maxing the screen timeout but that had no effect. I still had to engage 2 hands to push the side button to bring up demo clips or check timers. NOT the experience anyone would expect one hope for. 😩
