Temperature and SPO2 not available outside of the US?

So, for the ECG, i can understand why it's not available in countries where Fitbit didn't get the clearance.
but why do the temperature measurement and the SPO2 aren't available as well?

those aren't subjected to any health clearance in specific countries - those should be available for all from the application itself,

especially since the SPO2 can be seen in a watch face, so how come it's not seen from the app?

well, i think it's a bug.

in the "discover" tab there's a section called "health & fitness stats".

if you are from the US you will see the SPO2 and the temp report there.

if you're not from the US - it's not there.

They are available, presumably everywhere.

Did you get the free premium? May be its necessary outside the US.

As a test try setting your location and language to US everywhere in your profile, logout of the Fitbit app and back in.

1. got primum for the first month, didn't see that. and anyway after i pay 300$ for a watch, i think i should see the daily temp and SPO2 without paying more money.

2. location is a problem as it is taken from the phone so i can't change it. only time i did was when i used VPN in the US and then - i saw those values.

so - again, a bug in the system.

they are not separating the ECG from the temp and SPO2 - you either got all or nothing, don't know why.

Not seen this issue mentioned by anyone else, perhaps best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

ECG is under the Discover Tab and then Assessments and Reports, then Heart Rhythm Assessment.  For SPO2 go to Health Metrics from the Today tab, if you don't see it click on the edit button at the top of the screen underneath you inbox and add it as an option that shows up.  Then scroll down to Oxygen Saturation.  It will show you a graph for the past week's worth, to see the actual percentage you need to download the SPO2 watch face

When you buy an Xbox or a Playstation for $500 you still have to pay $15/month to use all the features because it takes upkeep to keep all this new technology working, Fitbit is no different.

beside the fact that now Fitbit support says the SPO2 isn't available in israel (not sure why cause it's not a regulatory issue, as far as i know, and it's not mentioned anywhere by fitbit),

you compare fitbit to xbox?
it's apples and oranges.

compare it to other wearable devices such as samsung, sunnuto, garmin... (not the apple watch, that's something else).

none of those are asking you to pay primum and they give (at least the latest samsung) roughly the same data.

so why is fitbit blocking me from seeing my information?
if i pay primum for insights, i can understand, but per your answer i pay primum to see data from features the watch is supposed to give me.

The reason I compared it to an Xbox is that they built wifi and an ethernet port into the Xbox but in order to maintain servers and provide other online benefits they charge for a premium cost.   And how do you know if SPO2 has been cleared by your regulatory agency in Israel?  Did you buy it from a local store or import it?  Also why not then return your device and buy a Samsung or Garmin if you are unhappy with it?

1. can't return it, passed the 30 days of the return period while trying to understand why this watch is cripple.

2. spO2 as a feature that need regulatory approval was not mentioned anywhere in fitbit help documents about it (or at least i couldn't find it) unlike the ECG.

3. your comparison is wrong but i guess if you think it's right there's not a lot to discuss about it.

I have been traveling in Costa Rica and now Nepal. The ECG and SP02 are gone. I find it ridiculous that I can't see these options when other watches like Coros and Garmin all have these available. I will only be able to use these functions again once I go back home to the US.
