Just recently Alexa on my Sense is muted and any time I try to turn up the volume it vibrates but never actually changes the volume. Is there a setting to unmute the voice assistant?

Hi @Mhanley, welcome to the community.
Have you made sure your Sense isn't in sleep mode? I've noticed that when my sleep mode schedule kicks in, it also mutes Alexa too. You can check it's not active at the current time by swiping to the screen left of the clock face and checking to see if the moon icon is illuminated.
I don't believe, or at least I haven't found, a volume control for Alexa. I would check the sleep mode as @N8teGee suggests.
If you have a sleep schedule setup, keeping the watch in sleep mode should not be a problem.
Best AnswerSleep mode is not activated. But when I ask Alexa a question I get the written answer and an x by the speaker symbol! See below.
Been an advocate of Fitbit since 2013, with my first Flex, Had various of them since, Hate this Sense, Have just ask the supplier to take it back. I want to return to my Charge 3, At least that had a correct floor count.
You have to make sure that the sleep mode AND the do not disturb icons are not lit up. I had the same problem, and my do not disturb icon was lit up. Check that the moon and the - icons are not highlighted
.
I have this issue and nothing is highlighted. Also tried touching the mute icon and adjusting that way, but no. Still muted.
HJNelson, Thanks!!! That got rid of the mute on my Voice Assistant!!! Yay!!!!
Best Answer1. Swipe down on the screen of your watch.
2. Click the setting icon
3. Scroll down untill you find "voice assistant Amazon Alexa"
4. Then find where it says " audio feedback " and toggle that switch
Hope that helps ☺️
Finally! The solution that worked for my Versa 3.
