The watch face fell off-Sense

I purchased this watch 14 month ago. I have had trouble with the weather syncing but ignored it, as I did like the other options and the look of the watch. Next, the time never changed when it was supposed to no matter what I did. Then i started having trouble charging it, and purchased 3 different chargers thinking it was the chargers. Then today, while i was sitting at the table, the face of the watch literally FELL OFF. The entire face!!! I used to purchase cheap watches from Walmart and replace them every year when the battery died. I decided to splurge and treat myself with this one and it didn't last any longer. Ofcourse it fell apart 2 months after the warrantee expired. I really thought fitbit had a nice product, but i guess i was wrong.

Hi @rjhoffman  check with your credit card company, as often they give us a warranty that we don't know about until we call.

Just an update .. fitbit contacted me via email and apologized and gave me a coupon code to get a new one to replace the one that fell apart.  I added the coupon and it saved me $5.00.  Should've saved their time, i will go elsewhere.

My Sense watch face came off today. I have owned it for less than a year. Normal wear everyday. Has not been in water or other extreme elements. Disappointed.

@BFgal Less than a year should be covered by warranty. Contact customer support.

My Fitbit has been in use since August 2020 no problem. So you never know.

I think the sense is a poor quality product. I've had the same issue. First time face fell out within the warranty period and I sent details (pics etc.,) got a replacement. Same thing happened again on this replacement product. This time, I got superglue and used a paper clip to stick it on the edges and the grove and back on and it worked.

If you search this forum and the internet, you'll see that this is a common issue with the sense.

Reached out to Fitbit. Replacement on the way . Not messing around with glue since it was under warranty. I previously viewed the other posts about the problem and about glue. The real answer to the problem  is a sturdier watch face design .
