Trying to set up for my child. This is the message I'm getting. Birthday is correct. Please help?

If this account was meant for a child, open their Google Account and make sure their birthday matches their age Then try to set up again. Learn more.

Hi @ym101. Do you use Google Family Link? Google Family Link has its own privacy protections. I don't have personal experience with this, but others posts say that you must remove your child from Family Link and that you can set up the account 24 hours later. Also, how old is your child? A child must be 13 and older in most countries, but must be 16 and older in others.

Keep in mind the age of your child and the Fitbit model. The Ace models are for children under 13.
