To anyone getting massively extra steps added all at once, often overnight.

Check if you have MobileTrack set up as a device (to count steps from your phone instead of Fitbit).  Some people seem to have it without knowing it.  If you don't need it, try deleting it.  That might prevent the extra steps  in the future.

Unfortunately this post will scroll off the screen if a day or two.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks for the advice @JohnnyRow. I'm not getting extra steps but then again, I've never used Mobile Track. 😊
