After updating Sense as requested my watch will no longer track and show any exercise I have completed.

Hi, @Maxwell1447, welcome to the community, I'm not clear on the precise nature of your problem. After a device update, data on your device may have been deleted but it should still be on your Fitbit app on your phone. Have you lost any data? Having updated your "Sense" is it now recording new data and syncing it with your Fitbit app on your phone? If this last is NOT the case try restarting your "Sense", hold the side button for about 20 seconds and release it when the logo appears. After about 35 seconds your "Sense" should be up & running again.
Let us know how you get on.
Cheers

Hi, @Maxwell1447, thanks for the update. May I suggest you look into the State of Charge of your "Sense", on the Today screen of your Fitbit app slide your finger down to sync and note the value at the battery icon in the top right? If the battery is depleted check why, look at the 4 little pins in the charging cable, they need to be slightly proud and free (they are spring-loaded). Clean the back of your "Sense", I use rubbing alcohol and a cotton wool pad as well as a cotton bud to detail the pits in the back of the "Sense" that take the pins. Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? provides additional guidance. If you are still not able to make progress I recommend you talk to "Customer Support" using the chat facility or phone for a prompt response. Alternatively, you could contact them via the app on your phone.
I hope this helps.
Cheers
