Today App Heart Rate and Display Bug

This evening I discovered a bug with the today app using at least two different watch faces. One is the default watch face. I scrolled down to the heart rate stat, the today word shows (slowly sitting there) and it will sit for about 20-30 seconds, and then the watch face goes bonkers. There is no way out of if aside from you doing a reboot. It is just jibberish computer code or lines for the watch face. This appears to be only for the heart rate stats. Aside from this, the today apps is painfully slow even when it was working. Update: It is doing no matter which watch face so it's not dependent on that. I turned off always on display to see if that would change anything. The only thing different is that it stays stuck on the today logo. Eventually it will go back to the watch face. This is a pretty bad bug and i'm thinking it will surface for others, as i don't know how this would be only for my device with everything else appearing to be working great. I was just thinking earlier wow I love this watch and then the first bug.

The today app is desperate from the watch face, therefore I would not expect changing the face to do anything.

Well the watch face is what it tries to switch back to or it appears to be trying to. I also just happened to change the watch face earlier using one for the first time. This came out of left field and there is no obvious reason with other options working fine in the today app. It could also have something to do with the heart rate monitor and the today app. If nobody else is having this issue then it could be just an issue with the unit i received.
