Unable to Update Fitbit Wallet to Google Wallet

I received a message from Fitbit saying that Fitbit Wallet is being phased out and Google Wallet will be implemented instead.

Whenever I touch the Wallet tab in the Fitbit app. I get the following message "An Error has occurred. Please Try Again"

How to resolve this issue?
