Unable to complete setup

I bought a Sense today.

Plugged in, its fully charged, my phone detected it and did the setup, went past setting up Wi-Fi.

Then, phone shows it, but the Sense says "Download the Fitbit app".

It won't move past this screen.

 

The app shows that I have no clock faces, and I can't install them until it updates, which it won't do either.

 

I tried rebooting it, and removing from the app and re-adding it, but it still won't progress.

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

It looks like there was an issue with the servers, as I've been able to complete the setup this morning
