Hey everybody,
does someone know which function the amazon page of the Fitbit Sense shows in the second picture ? Seems not very practically ^^ It says: "Hold your fingers still and on the edges". https://www.amazon.de/Fitbit-Sense-fortschrittliche-Gesundheits-Smartwatch-Hauttemperatur-Trends/dp/...
This couldnt be the ECG, or ? I thougt their arent allowed to promote the feature as long as it hasnt got regulatory approval from the EU.
And another question is after the following fitbit website state some sensors arent aviable to use without premium payment annualy, is that right ? (even sleeping heart rate needs premium ??!!) "New Health Metrics dashboard for Premium lets users track heart rate variability, breathing rate, skin temperature variation and more3" https://investor.fitbit.com/press/press-releases/press-release-details/2020/Fitbit-Debuts-Sense-Its-...
Thanks for your help guys 🙂

That picture is the ECG. The press release says:
"Simply hold your fingers on the corners of the stainless steel ring around the watch while being still for 30 seconds to receive a reading that can be downloaded to share with your doctor."
It doesn't seem to be an on-going function but only on demand. I guess they are covered by the clauses in the press release about availability:
"FDA review of compatible ECG app pending; only available in the U.S. upon clearance. Availability outside the U.S. pending applicable regulatory clearances including approval under Directive 93/42/EEC (the Medical Device Directive). The ECG app has not yet received a CE mark and will not be marketed, put into service or otherwise made available in the EU until it has obtained regulatory approval"
There doesn't seem to be a clearly documented list of features requiring premium by someone has pulled togather a summary of what's known so far in this thread:
