Unreliable bluetooth connection, ECG worked once and then no more and SPO2 only shows on watch

I've searched the forum and have found more or less similar individual issues but no solutions that worked for me.

So to repeat the title :

- the bluetooth connection is lost easily and does not reconnect. Only a re-setup of the device seems to help (I tried bluetooth on/off etc to no avail).

I have another watch (7 times cheaper) that never looses the connection or when back within reach immediately reconnects. (On top it also does bloodpressure).

- my SpO2 level shows on the watch clockface (if I have one that contains that field) as recommended. But the app doesn't show anything.

- The ECG worked once (including sending the PDF to my mail) but no I can tap the icon and it says that I need to go to the app. There I can find the Heart Rhythm Assessment with a "view results" button but I can only see non-conclusive results. The app on the watch does not let me go beyond the message "Open your Fitbit app and go to the Discover tab. Find Assessments & Reports" and only lets me tap "got it" to go back one level.

I hope I'm doing something wrong and that somebody here is able to help me out of my frustration.

Thx

P.S. I have version 128.4.17 in the app profile.

I'm not sure what is meant by the Bluetooth connection is lost @MarcVW

Are you saying that you remove the Sense from the list of trusted Bluetooth devices.

Normally if the Sense disconnects. Simply open the Fitbit app. The Fitbit app will eventually ask for permission to connect/pair the tracker.

For sync issues I would look here

It also is helpful to include the phone model when asking for help with the phone.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm having iphone 8.

What I'm experiencing is that the app doesn't sync automatically with the watch - but which is worse, when I try to sync it (swiping down) it starts but gets stuck half way without updating anything. The app tells me that to fix it I need to switch bluetooth on and off etc ... but nothing works except "forgetting" the device in bluetooth and starting over again.

Very much in line what this person is saying : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekXoZgF561s around 5:35 - 6:05 in the video.

I can solve the problem but it does not feel right to have to do it regularly ...

Have you looked at the help link posted above? If your asking for help with a phone, please include the phone model.

Sorry if I was not clear.

As indicated in the previous reply, it is an Iphone 8 (Apple), IOS 14.4 (which is the latest). Fitbit version of the app is the latest as well..
The links were helpful in that they do solve the issue but some hours (maximum a few days later) it happens again, and again ...

The point is not that I can't solve it but that the issue recurs regularly, which makes the watch a frustrating experience.
