Verizon + Messaging App

I am getting notifications on my watch that I have a text message but I am unable to read them. I am using the verizon messaging app. Does fit bit not support the verizon messaging app?  Very frustrated, I do not want to change the app I use to text.

Hi @newCC I assume you are saying that you can't read these messages on the watch? 

What phone do you have? Is the phone forwarding the messages to the tracker? 

Do you see any bit of the message? 

What happens when you tap the message? 

Tapping open will close the message on the wrist and open in the phone.
