Water damaged battery,

I am extremely disappointed in fitbit today. I went swimming with my sense, which apparently killed the battery (despite it being water locked to protect it). This is what the watch is meant for. Then I am told that I am out of warranty and they cannot replace it. I am instead offered a measly discount for the website, where I can't even buy the same watch. I could buy the newer one, the sense 2, with much less capabilities. For a company owned by google, the new watch only offers alexa and not google assistant, which is what I liked about the sense. This is extremely upsetting as I used to be an avid fitbit and google supporter.
 
Moral of the story: don't trust these watches to go swimming, and don't bother trying to get it replaced When Google bought fitbit I was excited to see these watches improve, but instead they stopped selling the old watches, and the new ones are devoid of

Hi @valfreyja04 - unfortunately the seals may fail if you are unlucky however the Sense can still be bought quite cheaply in stores since they may be on offer.

Yes I bought it cheaper on Amazon but I'm still greatly disappointed in the company for not offering a suitable alternative
