Just got a new sense.
Using "log some water" and it seems to sync with the Android app, but when I come back to the Sense it always says 64 fl oz remain. The Android app reports the correct value.

I am having the same problem. Around 11pm it wouldn't work but then at 12:30-1:00am it started working again.

I am having the same issue with my new Sense, installed 12/29 and synced with my iPhone 6s. Both items were updated with latest OS on 12/29. Shouldn't this and other readings on Sense be updating automatically every few minutes, instead of me having to manually go to fitbit app on my phone to launch a sync? What a pain in the A*** - and I thought this was Fitbit's "most advanced" model. I don't have the time every day to be chasing down all the erroneous issues with this **ahem**!

I just bought my sense yesterday, everything is up to date on phone and watch, tried rebooting my phone and watch and my water logging on the watch itself still doesn’t work. It always resets to zero as soon as I sync.

Hi @LizzyFitbit ,
A few observations:
The issue appears to be with the watch, and it affects user perception and reduces the value of the product.
I'm hereby offering for your engineers to contact me to walk through reproducing the problem. It would be useful to your customers and your company to move forward with a fix.

Hi @AlvaroFitbit ,
Your reply seems duplicative of prior suggestions by @LizzyFitbit in this thread, which did not work. There is documentary evidence of a problem (photos), as well as an increasing number of users confirming the problem.
Please see my response to @LizzyFitbit above. How can we help to move this forward to a fix and stop putting the problem back on your customers?

So can we confirm that @Fitbit just stopped responding with regard to this issue?

I just got a Sense and I have the same problem. I log the water intake on the watch it shows up on the phone app but on the watch it still shows 0. Randomly if I log in the morning it will show on both watch and phone app but then it will disappear on the watch in the afternoon again. Definitely a bug, and I am very surprised that Fitbit does not respond to this issue when so many users have the same problem. Definitely way to many bugs in the Fitbit software. Just found out to make the pre-installed agenda work, I had to uninstall it, synch and then reinstall. Works but frustrating.

So frustrated i returned it and got the apple watch. Might be an overreaction but the fact that the sense comes with water log already installed and doesnt work, and hasnt worked for what is seemingly ever according to all the boards, just annoys the heck out of me. No pride to fix this problem, well then i guess ill spend a little more for a better watch.

Fitbit has gone dark on this bug.
No evidence yet that new ownership by Google is making a difference to product quality or customer support.

I can log water on the Sense and on the phone app, but it only appears on the phone app. The Sense always says 0. I reinstalled everything and it still doesn't work. I have the updated app. Still doesn't work. I was just having issues with the Premium membership disappearing even though it's paid. This is incredibly frustrating!

@KatieRowan I have a similar situation. If I log water on my Sense, nothing will happen and as soon as I get out of the Today app, it will show the number prior as if I hadn't logged anything.
If I log the water via app, it will either:
1. sync on the watch as well
2. be logged on the app normally, but not on the watch
3. will be reset to the value which is on the watch
I've tried all the possible solutions provided on the internet, but nothing helps.
I just got the Fitbit Sense a week ago and growing increasingly frustrated. Half of the promised things don't work as expected, ECG app (the MAJOR selling point for Fitbit Sense) isn't available in my country (apparently because my countries regulators haven't approved it yet, but they did so for Apple and Samsung watches lmao) and they haven't mentioned it on their sales page, but in SMALL PRINT on the bottom of the description of the ECG feature. I'm feeling more and more betrayed and I'm allergic to betrayal and willing to go the extra mile to make sure nobody else gets in the same position.
If nothing changes, I will create my first youtube video and point out all the bad things about Fitbit Sense that nobody even mentioned in their reviews (I wonder how much they getting paid to leave a positive review?). I will return the watch and just get the Samsung Galaxy 3 or Apple Watch. I will create a post on reddit and warn people not to give so much money for this piece of crap. I'll warn anyone just not to get Fitbit products at all, **ahem** this man..

Same issue here but the problem isn't unique to the Sense. I came across this thread since I'm experiencing the same thing on my new Versa 3 (app shows correctly, device shows no water logged though earlier in the day it was reporting correctly) and no restarting, syncing, etc. changes it.

I just got a FitBit Sense a few days ago. I am using an iPhone 12 running iOS 14.8.1. I updated the software on the Fitbit when I got it.
I log water on the FitBit app on my iPhone. I sync the FitBit, but on the Sense when I click on Today and scroll down to Water it shows that I have my entire goal amount remaining
I tried rebooting the phone and the FitBit, but this did not resolve the problem.
Note that when I log water on the Sense, it gets added to my total on the phone, just not the other way around.
The same problem does not occur when using the good log.
Is my Sense defective? Should I return it for a new one?
