Weird “Ecxercise” app appeared on my fitbit

A strange app with the title “Ecxercise” has appeared on my fitbit Sense. No, it’s not the “Exercise” app, that has always been there. This weird app has no icon, just a name. When I tapped it, it produced a screen with just two numbers, a top number that is flashing and slowly increasing. It might be calculating calories. The second number has hPa after it which could be a reading from the watch’s altimeter, but that number doesn’t change. Has anyone else had this happen?

Hello @Some_Guy and welcome to the Community.  This is the first report of this "Ecxercise" app.

  • Did you try restarting your Sense and does it go away?
  • Is it listed in your apps in your Gallery?
  • Out of interest, does the hPa number go down if you walk up a flight of stairs?  Fitbit's relative altimeter uses a change in barometric pressure to calculate a flight of stairs.
