What is the material for Fitbit Sense?

My birthday is not too close but I am hoping to save up to treat myself to a new Fitbit.

I keep looking at the Fitbit Sense and I like the idea of some of the features.

I have a Charge 3 and have stuck with the charge even though I have tried the Versa and liked it.

the only issue I have is that after a while I had an allergic-type reaction to the back material which I do not get with the charge.

is the sense a similar material?

The Sense manual is here: https://help.fitbit.com/manuals/manual_sense_en_US.pdf

Info on materials from the manual:

Materials
The band that comes with Sense is made of a flexible, durable elastomer material similar to that used in many sports watches.
The housing and buckle on Sense are made of anodized aluminum. While anodized aluminum can contain traces of nickel, which can cause an allergic reaction in someone with nickel sensitivity, the amount of nickel in all Fitbit products meets the European Union's stringent Nickel Directive.
Our products may contain trace amounts of acrylates and methacrylates from adhesives used in those products but we work to ensure our products adhere to rigorous design specifications and meet extensive test requirements so as to minimum the potential for reaction to these adhesives.

Sure wish they'd give a real answer to what is in their "flexible, durable elastomer material" - like what chemicals make it up?  I just got a new Versa 3 and the band seems to be different than the older models I've had.  I'd rather not have to put it on to find out if I will have an allergic reaction, instead of just being able to read the list of ingredients...

If still considering - I've had the Sense a week and no nickel reaction to the housing so far (this was not always the case with my Versa 2, where I had a mild redness reaction and had to switch arms daily to prevent it from becoming a more serious rash. I have had issues with other "hypoallergenic" stainless steel products that meet various standards but still have trace amounts of nickle, and watches / earrings are among the worst offenders because they never leave the skin. I also havent had any trouble with the band yet - another source of trouble for me with my Versa 2. Not sure if it was the contents or just trapping sweat behind it, in that case I used a bit of moleskin to help reduce both moisture and direct skin contact. But now that I am doing a lot of pool workouts, I want to wear my watch in the pool, so, moleskin woukdn't have been a good option. For me, the aluminum case has made all the difference - and for whatever reason, the band is less troublesome too.

Silicone. The "flexible, durable elastomer" they use is silicone.

I agree it would be a whole lot simpler if they just gave a straight answer -- the answer they gave is roughly equivalent to saying "we make our watch band out of molecules", and certainly no more helpful than that. But yeah, it's just a high-durability silicone.

Are you sure about the silicone?  Because I had a repeated reaction to the band that came with my Sense, and when I called to ask about it, the guy on the phone said the band it came with did include natural rubber.  After I tried all the suggestions on the site, to prove it wasn't something ON the band rather than the band itself (and I also pointed out how dangerous it could be for people with more severe latex allergies and how simple it would be to just identify the material in the first place and thus avoid liability), they sent me a replacement band of the "woven" type, and so far no reactions.

No sign of the material being better identified on the web site, though.  If they made any change, it would have to be recent, as I only got my Sense as a replacement for the Ionic that nearly started a fire at our animal hospital….
