I have started using an exercise bike at home and I have a Sense. What setting under exercise do I use to get an accurate reading?

Ideally, you should use Spin as this is a dedicated mode for indoor cycling. Accuracy (in this case, the only thing tracked is HR and calories) doesn't depend on exercise mode.

Thank you. I "rode" 11 miles this morning and it gave me less than a mile on my watch. I knew I wouldn't get credit for 11 but I was hoping for at least 2 miles.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S8, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

@Semaher60 any distance credit you get is from the number of steps it registers due to your wrist movements. It will be always quite random and with no real relation to your effort. If you want track real distance, speed and cadence you need more advanced sports watch (and indoor bike with built-in or external sensors for speed and cadence). Fitbit provides only very simple tracking as it is unable to obtain other data. You will always get some steps which will add distance but this depends on how much you move your wrist/watch.

Thanks. It's a recumbent bike so I had my hands laying on my legs hoping it would register the movement of them. I'm just not tech savvy enough to understand how everything works and this Sense is new..my husband bought it for me for Christmas. I guess I need to read the manual a little more😁.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S8, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

It might, but they are registered as steps. Distance = steps X stride

Your asking for Steps X Gear Ratio X Circumference of wheel, the last 2 fitbit doesn't know, even then distance is a virtual and made up
