I was thinking of buying the sense for myself for Christmas. I wanted to know what would I be able to use on it without buying into the premium offer? I own a versa 2 now. Many thanks.

Hi, @SunsetRunner - have a look on the forums for issues with the Sense before changing, especially if the Versa 2 is working fine.
If you download music files to your watch you can't do that without a subscription on a Sense.
If you rely on heart rate don't change.
And unless you have a problem with the current watch don't change.
Premium is optional and is available to watch users - the Fitbit App works fine without it, basically like you have it now.
However for a new watch you can try the premium for free for 6 months, so you can see if its worth it for yourself.

Thank you very much. I am not having many issues with my Fitbit that I have now except that I have times when I am up and down stairs numerous times daily and it is never recorded. Then on days when I do not go up or down stairs, it racks up the number of times I did the previous days. I guess I will stick with what I have until I find a much better smart watch.

Rhetta,
I would not buy a SENSE. I got one after it came out and a few months ago started the Premium trial. It never worked right. I had to start charging it more often. Then, it stopped charging altogether. I finally reached out to Fitbit a few days ago and upon looking more closely one of the pins in the charging cable is loose. I'm GUESSING that's why it stopped charging. Their reply to me was "it's out of the limited warranty period, feel free to visit our website to purchase products". NO! NO! NO! I bought it not long after it came out last year and it stopped working before the year was up! If they can't even send me a new charging cable to replace their defective one (I found that there are many people with the same exact problem--a loose pin on their charger), then I will NEVER buy another fitbit product. That was my third one, and No, I will NOT pay a subscription fee to see what my resting heart rate is. My BLAZE did that already. I only got a new one because I THOUGHT it would be better. It WASN'T. Plus, although it's been sitting on my nightstand, it shows steps on my DASHBOARD!! Now if THAT doesn't tell you something is seriously wrong... They can see on my account that my last recorded walk was 9/5 and it DIED completely on 9/27. Pretty sure I purchased it in October 2020. Don't spend any money on this product. It doesn't last.
Hope this helps.
