sense gives my temperature as 0 degrees F. It can't be that low. what does this mean?

Hi there, @notdoneyet - That 0º is not your skin temperature but the temperature variation. In this case, 0 is good.
Here is more detail from the Fitbit Help pages:
Skin temperature is the temperature on the skin's surface. … Some Fitbit devices use a sensor to estimate your personal baseline skintemperature, based on up to 30 days of data. Each morning, you can see how your skin temperature last night compares to your personal baseline. Note that you see this information as your skin temperature variation (whether your skin temperature was higher or lower than your personal baseline).
