On my Sense under System Info it says "Wi-Fi off" and as a consequence I can't connect it to my Home Wi-Fi network. Everything was working fine and I did not change anything myself manually so I have no idea how this happened. My question is how do I turn it back on to enable me to reconnect.

Syncing / connection has been an ongoing issue since I started using fitbits 7 years ago. I have to take some sort of action 3 or 4 times a year but it varies by person and there seem to be lots of people that have far more frequent issues. There doesn't seem to be a way of avoiding them I'm afraid.

Are you sure it's trying to connect to Wi-Fi? That sounds like a message you can get when trying to sync a fitbit and that's done over bluetooth rather than Wi-Fi. What is it that you're trying to do when you get that error message?

I'm sorry but I can't explain why you get that message when trying to connect to wifi (I'm still not sure why you are trying to!). Hopefully someone else will be able to assist. In the meantime, as wifi is not used for much, I hope your fitbit continues to work ok.
I just went into Bluetooth and it shows Not Connected -- when I try to connect it says Connection Unsuccessful - make sure Sense is turned on and in range -- which it is
Best AnswerWhile you enter the Wifi connection information, the Sense rarely uses Wifi. My Wifi logs show that my Sense has never attempted to connect to my Wifi network. It must have downloaded the firmware update via Bluetooth. I believe the Wifi connection is only meant for music streaming services. It is normal to see "Wifi off" in the watch.

ok, So the wifi is a red herring. I'm sure that's working just fine. The problem is that your fitbit has lost connection with your phone over bluetooth.
When I get connection issues I try the following:
I restarted my Sense and in my Bluetooth it shows "Connected' -- how often is this likely to happen -- I know it is like asking "how long is a piece of string"
