When I try to connect WiFi through the app my iPhone finds only the 5 ghz network so I can’t connect my sense to my home network. In order to set up my sense I had to use a hotspot from a different iPhone than the one I’m running the Fitbit app on. It worked but I’m trying to connect directly to my home network without having to use a hotspot. With my Ionic I didn’t have a problem connecting to my WiFi network at home. I don’t understand why this is so difficult.

Hi @Jshake1 Have you tried to temporarily disconnect your iPhone from the 5Ghz network? It should force your iPhone to connect to the 2,4 Ghz, and connect your Sense to WiFi.

@Jshake1 , that can be a bit tricky. Sense uses the 2.4 GHz band and will not be available for setup if your phone is on the 5 GHz band. You only need 2,4 on your phone for setup. Unless you can set up a 2,4 guest network on your router, the only option I can think of is to move out of the 5 GHz range (2.4 broadcasts longer than 5Ghz).to connect Sense yo wifi.

@Jshake1 it can be interference bluetooth / wifi. You can try to unpair Sense / Phone, and then try to add WiFi again. You won't loose any data by unpairing.
