On the phone support, we got to the factory reset, it seemed to go well, all indications were that it had indeed do the factory reset. When I checked the phone, it still had all of my data. I was under the impression that a factory reset wiped everything. Oh yeah I had my dashboard open. So did the Dashboard re-populate the data to my watch?

Factory reset will keep your data, at least what has been synced, because that is all on the main Fitbit database stored by your email, but it does reset any settings you have changed, such as rearranging the apps, probably settings such as Do Not Display, alarms, etc.
