Every few months the icons, pictures, and options in the workout app disappear or go dark or stop working and crash the watch. I've tried hard resetting multiple times but it seems like multiple factory resets is the only thing that fixes it... until the next time. Am I the only one having this issue or is there an easier fix? It's so frustrating since workout tracking is the main reason I got this watch.

@Mhays760 , you mean the onboard excercise app . Walking - Hiking_cycling_running etc? This is a wild guess, but it sounds like you're running out of memory. Data is not erased from watch memory after sync. I've never heard about it before but...On the device - go to settings - about sense - system information - how much available memory do you have?

Right now 982 MB but I did a factory reset to get my watch back. I can check that next time it does it, but if that's it, what's the fix?

Have you installed many third part apps? 982 is not that much, especially after a factory reset. I have a brand new one myself, and I have 2854 available. I have never heard of this problem before, so I am not sure what the fix may be.
All data is showing normal on your phone right? The first thing that comes to mind is to try and cler the cache on your phone.

I don't have any third party apps installed, just Pandora playlists but I'll try to pair that down and see if it comes back. You've given me some things to look at, at least.

I admit problems like this intrigues me. Nothing obvious, not known, not logical. Playlists explains why you have less memory (e.g disk space), it shouldnt be a problem.
If I were you, I would try to clear data from the app. On your phone, go to Setttings >Apps >Fitbit> Storage - Clear all data - not only cache. OPen the app and login (You lose login info when clearing all data). Remember to grant permissions.
