So today I had to give a short but big presentation - I didn’t actually look to see what my heart rate was but I was sitting in a chair not moving except for talking. I achieved 18 zone minutes...8 for cardio. I was definitely nervous. Does it make sense to you that this would translate to zone minutes that should be counted (Presentation went great). Would this mean anytime you get nervous I would get zone minutes if my heart was beating fast enough?
I am not sure what to make of this.

In not a medical expert however, this does happen to me where my heart rate does go up in stressful or intense to me situations. I would guess the fitbut pivoted up this heat rate increase and just logged it as exercise. That would be my guess

@Mrapkon I'm very sure that zone minutes are awarded just based on heart rate data. It doesn't combine heart rate and motion data and award then only if you are moving. You can delete this data if you want. If you tap on your zone minute icon then the gear in the upper right, you can delete these minutes.
I'm not a big fan of micromanaging this type of data. Steps, for example, can be overcounted or undercounted, depending on the circumstances. At the end of the day, all the numbers are estimates. I'm fine with that.

It is normal for the heart rate to increase when the person is nervous.

Yes - I can totally imagine my heart rate was up, just wasn’t sure that it was the only thing that determines a zone minute since I wasn’t moving. I am a nervous flyer too. I can only imagine what those zone minutes will look like..lol. Doesn’t seem correct that they should only measure based on HR but good to know.

It could also be that you were sweating, Zone Minutes have become absolutely meaningless for me because the moment my wrist is giving off some heat apparent HR goes crazy.
