So I ordered a new sense for my wife on thursday as she broke her original, upgraded the delivery option to next working day, next working day came and went, just had a message from DHL saying it will be delivered tomorrow, I could have had free delivery for that time scale, so I've paid £8  extra for absolutely no reason!!

Hi @SunsetRunner,

While I certainly understand your frustration, please understand that Fitbit has no control over how quickly the packages get delivered.  They use FedEx for their delivery service, and are therefore at the mercy of the FedEx delivery system.  Things are running slowly right now with worker shortages and I expect things will be even slower in the coming weeks with the holiday season coming up.

Unfortunately, there may be little, if anything, that Fitbit can do to help you.  However, I do know that FedEx has a delivery app which can help track your packages so that you have a better idea of when your device will arrive.

@DramaQueenDiva The OP mentions euro and DHL?

If it was ordered on Thursday, you don't know how long it took to actually be picked up? Bad timing that the weekend fell in there.

I had a place tell me once that next day delivery doesn't count handling and processing. They took a couple days to process the order, and then it was shipped next day. Some places even have an additional fee for expedited handling.

It very well may be next business day from DHL's standpoint? If you really feel that bad about it, see what support says?

My guess, is without paying for next day, the watch might have taken one or two more days.

I'm not frustrated, I'm really annoyed

I was offered next day delivery at checkout and because my wife is lost without her FB, I paid the extra £8 to have it delivered the next working day, that hasn't happened and the arrival date is now the same day it would have been if I'd chosen the free delivery option so I'm £8 out of pocket and have been charged for a service that I haven't received, I know it's "only" £8 but there is a principle involved here .

If Fitbit can't honour what thy offer and charge for at checkout then perhaps they should remove the option altogether

At what time was the order placed (fitbit's time)?

Did fitbit have enough time to pack and have DHL pick it up for their next day cutoff?

Is it the fault of fitbit or DHL?

Theres’s a lot In play with this order.  Was Fitbit processing orders on Thanksgiving? If not, the order would be processed Friday and next business day is Monday. Was DHL delivering and picking up orders on Thanksgiving day? I don’t see where they were. So the even if the order was processed Thursday by Fitbit, it would not be picked up by DHL until Friday for next bd Monday. I can understand and feel for your annoyance but I’d be annoyed with myself for not having considered the holiday.

@Clove6060 He said he paid 7 euro, so I'm assuming our Holiday wasn't a factor. Doubt it's being sent from the states to a European location next day all for 7 euro?

Good point. My mistake.

It looks like Fitbit Europe processing begins the day after you place your order.
