not receiving notifications

My Fitbit Sense stopped receiving any notifications Friday, June 24th.  I have checked to make sure my phone (iPhone 12 Pro) software is up to date along with my Fitbit software.  I have disconnected my Fitbit to my phone several times and restarted both several times.  None of this seems to resolve my issue.  I also checked to make sure my Fitbit is set to receive notifications.  All seems to be correct.  What is brothering me the most is this all happened during the day.  Any suggestions that could help would be appreciated.

I have done all of that and still nothing.

Hi, @ph4tigercub , May I suggest you check the battery-saving function on your Fitbit app on your phone. I'm not familiar with Apple devices but in essence, go to the app tray on your phone and open the "Fitbit" app, disable any battery-saving function for the Fitbit app. We need the app to run continuously in the background but some phones treat it as non-essential and put it to sleep.

I will try that.  I just baffles me how everything was working one moment and then it just stopped.
