This behavior has returned, although possibly less often. If I can't Fast Forward with "Play From" set to Sense, I change it to Mobile and then I can Fast Forward from my Sense, even if I also see "Device Not Found".

Hi @GDMW - if something is not working as it should a watch or even a phone restart may correct it.
The new V4 Fitbit App has syncing problems which could be the cause and may not have been tested with music as Google are trying to phase out music support on their Fitbit watches.
