Avg. Restful Sleep in Weekly Progress Report E-mail

I just got my Weekly Progress Report E-mail.  It list 9 hours and 36 minutes for "avg. Restful Sleep", yet on my dashboard the most sleep I got was 8 hours and 45 minutes and the rest were between 5 hours and 44 minutes to 7 hours and 51 minutes, so how could my average be over 9 hours?!?!?!?!?

Hello @warshawm

I suspect that the difference that you're seeing is due to a change in the Fitbit app's sleep algorithm; see this announcement (<-- click). There's a corresponding announcement in the iOS app forum.

It looks to me that the hours slept algorithm for the weekly report hasn't been updated to match the mobile app's algorithm. Like you, I've noticed the hours slept difference between my weekly report & the app. Most likely, the 2 algorithms will eventually be back in sync.

My weekly report once had an outrageous average for me, but returned to normal.

Now my sleep average is no longer included in my weekly report since the beginning of August. Has anyone else had the same thing happen?
