I really wish that FitBit would allow us a means to log in sick days.
I am trying to get into shape and eating healthy so it is discouraging when my FitBit tells me I have been undertraining for the last few days
I have been so ill that I have not even been able to get dressed and I have been running a fever despite taking medications such as Tylenol and Advil.
I have barely moved due to extreme nausea, and bone crushing aches and pains such as I have no conscious memory of ever feeling before and I have sinus pain (all my teeth feel like they are cavities such is the pain) not to mention I have lost my sense of smell and taste and am coughing and sneezing to no end.
In other words, I feel dreadful. FitBit picked up a few anomalies in my low abd high heart rates but it still thinks I should be moving about and exercising.
I cannot imagine it would be very difficult to insert an algorithm that allowed one to enter in sick days.
It is so demoralizing to be sick in the furst place but then to have your fitness device basically scold you is an added weight none of us needs when we truly are unwell and are truly trying to get healthier by eating right and exercising.
Please Google - you have the resources to make it happen. I implore you to add this feature to FitBit.
Thanks for letting me post about it.

I just did a Google "imagine" on my WhatsApp App and I was stunned by the clarity of the suggestions made by AI in designing a means to track sick days.
It was so comprehensive and hit everything head on.
I took screen captures of it and am more than willing to share the ideas outlined by the Meta AI.
If FitBit offered this service, I bet it would elevated FitBit as the go-to fitness app because to the best of my knowledge, fitness devices do not offer this feature.
I am also a member of Weight Watchers and I can attest to countless folks (I am active in the WW online community) who need encouragement from FitBit and not being demoralized by a device that says get moving when they are sick and struggling to stay on program.
You have the power to help make great changes that will impact millions.
Thanks.

Please have a ‘sick day’ feature. Makes no sense to keep missing goals and have the app notify you are under-training with tone deaf language. ‘Sick day’ will switch the tone, send cheers for good sleep, rest and readiness and help with moral and motivational support that is appropriate to one’s actual condition.

I heartily agree.
I am just getting well and have gone grocery shopping or for shirt walks and now FitBit is telling me I am way overtraining because simple things cause FitBit to read me in the moderate or vigorous and peak zones.
It is driving me crazy because I am not 100% well yet - this bug really hit me hard!
So if I do not exercise I am undertainibg and if I do stuff then I am overtraining.
Sheesh!!!!
What happened to intelligent AI and common sense?
