Will the new smart wake feature be available on older devices, specifically the charge 3(and if so when) or is it only on the new Versa 2?

Here is what Fitbit’s press release says:

 

Coming soon to all Fitbit smartwatches, smart wake uses machine learning to wake you during an optimal time of your sleep cycle while in light or REM sleep, based on a pre-selected 30-minute interval, so you wake up feeling more refreshed. 6

 

The footnote "6" says:

 

Smart wake coming soon; available only on Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa family of smartwatches.

Where is the feature? I have an Ionic and not able to activate smart awake alarm. What a shame fitbit!
