Well, it's annoying enough that there are often two lots of sleep, which Fitbit makes into one longer one and one subsidiary sleep session, over one night.
BUT: what is really silly is that on a night when I've woken up before to after midnight, Fitbit ascribes that night's pre-midnight sleep to the previous night, which OVERLAPS that previous night's pre-midnight sleep.
REALLY! I am one person, I can't be sleeping twice at the same time! this leads to eg previous night goes up to say 9 hours 45 mins, and current overnight sleep down to say 3 hours or whatever. This is really annoying and makes no sense. It has happened many times over my years of having Fitbit watches.
Can you explain how Fitbit can be getting this so wrong? This isn't about my current Fitbit watch or whatever, it is about the way Fitbit mismanages sleep times.

Oh and please don't explain to me how I can manually delete sleep and log it to another night. I've got better things to do than bother with that! Hoping for some clarity because overlapped sleep recording is clearly dysfunctional in software recording system. Thanks in anticipation.
