I think most of us have been finding that fitbit has been on a gradual decline for a while now but wow whatever they've done update wise in the past month or so I think has really pushed me to say yep it's time to out my fitbit era to bed.
Has anyone else noticed that sleep tracking has gone absolutely to s#!t? Ive been up for hours.... it's not set to sensitive settings just normal. But no matter how much I keep manually setting it back to reflect my wake up time it keeps throwing hours and hours more sleep on there. Im up about, doing things inside and outside the house. It had me sleeping almost 15 hours yesterday, looks like it's trying hard to get me there again today.
Also noticed Im climbing floors in my sleep as I regularly of late have 10 or more floors racked up before my feet are out of bed of a morning.
Are others noticing a significant change in reliability in recent weeks/months?
For those who have moved on to other fitness/health watch, what have you changed to? Or are you considering?
Im needing to stick with something that monitors the sleep and heart stuff in particular. Long covid patient... so a lot of those details are interesting to me.
Thanks

Hello @shira1
There was a change recently made to the sleep algorithm; see this announcement (<-- click). There's an equivalent announcement on the iOS app forum, in case you're an iOS user.
I think there was something going on with the sleep algorithms earlier this week. A few users reported sleep time was double tracked, sharing screenshots of the double tracked sleep. This issue seemed to clear up after a few days. I'm wondering if this sleep algorithm issue is what you experienced.
Please let us know if you are still seeing weird sleep tracking.
