Why does my Fitbit not analyze my second sleep?

If I wake up for a period of time in the middle of the night, it will only show the graph for the first sleep and only references the time of the second sleep without any analytics. Is there a way to fix this?

Sleep has to be at least 3 hours in length to get sleep stages.

If it was a fairly short wake time, you might want to edit your 2 sleep segments into one.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

YES!!!  I only recently learned that you can "edit" your sleep.

Like you, I am a polyphasic sleeper.  That is to say that I typically sleep 3 different times of about 3 hours each.  Fitbit doesn't know how to approach this.  I would frequently not even get a sleep score.  It seemed worthless.

Then someone tipped me off to the edit.  I can now adjust my sleep time so that it shows everything from the first time I fall asleep to the final wake-up.  I get a much more accurate picture of my sleep, and generally get a better sleep score to boot.

It's a little tricky though.  When you edit sleep it may show 2 or 3 different sleep times.  I must edit 2 of them to a time period outside the time I want to track.  These are fictitious and ignored later on. I can then modify the remaining sleep time to match my whole night sleep.   I love it and it works great.
