According to the What's sleep score in the Fitbit app , your personal sleep score is based on your heart rate, the time you spend awake or restless, and your sleep stages. Although age isn't listed as a factor in the calculation, we don't know all the specifics of the sleep score algorithm since it is proprietary.
That said, when I look at my sleep stages there is the option to compare/benchmark my results against the ranges for women my age.
