2 Surge devises on 1 account

Fitbit have very kindly replaced my Surge due to battery drain issues.

Does anybody use a 2nd surge on their account? Is it possible fitbit?

The reason being is that rather than discard my original surge, use it for gardening, building work etc.. And not risk spoiling my new device.

Although you can have multiple fitbits connected to your account, they have to be different types. So, I'm afraid you can't have 2 Surges connected.

I thought that was the case, although I think I could unpair one of them
and then replace back after using the other one?

Any Fitbit mods out there to comment?

You can swap between them by going into the add device process. It will detect that you are trying to add an existing Surge and will ask if you want to replace it. 

Make sure you sync before each swap else you'll lose data.
