Just got off a live chat with Steve D letting him know my second Surge in 19 months has a defective band. After he told me "this is not a common scenario " and that they were not going to do anything for me I told him I would post this to see if anyone had this issue. I'd like to hear if you've dealt with this too. I'm going to take pictures and post online. Might tweet them too

Check out the other forums with" broken band,  band bubbling" there are lots of others with this issue and fitbit is aware of the defect.

@Vacman Like Redmoonstar said. Check out the Surge Forum. You may be surprised at what you find! Also. If you want a fix, Amazon sells replacement bands for the Surge. Check out YouTube to see how it's done. Good luck and welcome to The World of FitBit.
