Bluetooth connection

I got wireless earphones for Christmas which use bluetooth. The signal is constantly dropping and was told its because I have my fitbit and earphones connected, and that my watch it more powerful, so was advised to turn off FitBit bluetooth and it should remain connected.

My question is, can I still use all the exercise modes, running etc without bluetooth connected? Am I right in thinking it only needs bluetooth to sync to dashboard/app?

Thanks x

Unless you're using call/text notifications or music control (using a bluetooth'classic' connection) then there is no need for a Bluetooth connection between Surge and phone except when you want to synchronise the Surge.

I can do without those functions whilst in the Gym/Running. My headset has its own music controls. I'll just sync data after my sessions.

Thank you!
