Make that you have the "All day Sync" option disable on your Fitbit app. After that, Restart your tracker and try to set up the call and text notifications by following the instructions here "Call and Text Notifications".

Under your phone's settings go to sounds and notifications, scroll down, make sure lock screen is set to show all.

Hey thanks for the info @Rich_Laue and @Nikkiwhite44 thanks for the update. In this case I recommend to contact Costumer Support they will be happy to further investigate this issue and I'm sure they will get you back on track.
