Broken charge port(inside plug).

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Surge that I have had over a year now, it has been a good unit other than the light stopped working after a few months.

I know I am out of warrenty but wondering the cost of having the internal plug of the charge port repaired?

One side of it broke off and one of the contacts fell out, so now I can not charge it.

Thank you for any info.

Don.

Sorry, but I am not aware of any repair services for your tracker.  😞

Hey @DonaldB, thank you for joining us! Woman Very Happy

Sorry to read about your little buddy, as @SunsetRunner said we don't have any information of a place you can take your Fitbit to be repaired. Our best recommendation is to contact our Support Team, even if your Fitbit warranty is already expired, they can give you some good points if you're considering keep using Fitbit products. You can reach them via email, or if you prefer you can chat or calling them at:

  • US/Canada: (877) 623-4997 from 4am to 9pm (PT).
  • UK: 0208 865 3243 from 9am to 6pm.
  • India: 000 800 100 4540 from 10am to 9pm (IST).

Keep me posted with the outcome! Robot Happy

mine broke as well after just a few months, but since this one was already a replacement for my original tracker, the support team wouldn't replace it since my original warranty ended....apparently warranty period is only on the original tracker, not the replacement...which I think is horrible.  a replacement tracker should have a warranty too! let me know if you were able to fix yours!!

I was given a 25% discount for a new Surge because mine was 2 years old. I thought that was awesome of the company, only to find out 2 days later they had a Valentines day sale....25% off trackers. What I would like to know from Fit Bit is why they made it seem like that were giving me a deal when in reality they were not? All they had to do was tell me they were going to have a sale in 2 days and that I could buy a new one for 25% off.If I had know all this before I spent the money on a new Surge, I would of bought a Garmin for $20 more.

Also happened to me. My second Surge (replacement)has only lasted 5 months. I do NOT recommend the Surge. Now that the original warranty is expired - no replacement offer.
