Broken dongle - does any fitbit dongle work as replacement?

The dongle that came with my Fitbit Surge has broken (snapped in two) so I need to get a new one. My question is: can I use ANY fitbit dongle, or are there different kinds and I will need a special Surge dongle?

 

There are plenty for sale on ebay etc - but I just want to check they will be compatible.

Any Fitbit Dongle will work, though ensure getting a official one (best if the seller is Fitbit) when buying on a site such as Amazon, also possible to purchase on the Fitbit Store.

 

No clue if it falls under warranty..
