Calculation of Average

Good Afternoon Guys,

I have certain query on how fitbit Activity Groups display averages in terms of distance. For Ex: Entire April 2016 (YTD) I have been walking roughly 17 kms / day yet my average displays only 11 Kms? Is it right / does it work differently?

Please help me understand because the Steps taken are displayed perfectly, but then why does the distance not reflect the same?

But then why has FitBit not responded to this?

"we are aware of this problem and we will fix it"

Honestly I was confused when I saw the Leaderboard.

I was surprised but later on thought to myself, I may be only showing the actual distance when I was actively walking a a certain speed or something...
