Hi all,

 

can anybody help pease.

 

i recently upgradeg my old iphone from a 5 to a 6, i ported my original number across to the new device but for some reason i'm no longer getting notifications via my fitbit.

 

i have tried un-pairing and syncing again but this isn't working. the app on my phone is working fine and is connecting / syncing with the Surge recording my exercises etc it's just the notifications.

 

many thanks for any advice etc

You need to enable the notifications via the fitbit app on your phone. Open the app tap surge then tap call notifications it should say configuring notifications, it can take a little while. Then choose your notifications ( contacts here in Australia ) and messages. Hope that helps.

@Jeebus-uk84 welcome to the Community!  I'd like to know if you were able to set up your notifications on your new phone as per @Redmoonstar advice.  Just in case Smiley Wink I'll be happy to share this instructions with you.  I also want to encourage you to take a look a our Discussions board, you'll have a lot of fun!
