Calorie burn inaccuracy

Twice in the last week my Surge has my calories burned WAY high. Put it on at 5:30 AM for a spin class, tracked that OK 300+ calories, but my total a whole 90 minutes later was over 3300. Obviously not right. I also have a regular Fitbit HR flex and it tracks calories burned correctly. How can I fix this or did I get a dud? I have had it almost 3 months and this week is the first time it has malfunctioned to this degree. Battery is charged so I know that isn't the reason.. Help 😞

Very welcome to the Community @SunsetRunner! Smiley LOL Lets try a couple of things, first, Restart your Surge and after that Force Quit the Fitbit app, open your Fitbit app and remove your tracker. Finally, log out from your app, turn off your Bluetooth, wait for 5 seconds and turn it on again, log back into your Fitbit app and Set up your tracker as a new Fitbit Device.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes! Smiley Wink
